Server Log In Issues

So I created an account on the website and for the game, then played a little.
After a while I verified the email-adress linked to the website account, but when I now try to log in to the server with the game account I get a message telling me that account verification is required.
Is this an issue that will resolve itself with time, or is the game account lost?

Edit: For science purposes I created another game account, which is able to log into the server.
Guess the first one is lost to the void.

though Sentinel and Infiltrator are also good.

Vanguard is obviously fun, but the temptation to charge everything means you probably die a lot.

I've have seen several posts about login issues. It could be related to the server isssues is having currently. They have a huge spike in error rate and keep giving a ton of people server error pages.
