Kill Steal Protection Problem???

Hey so I've had this problem a couple of times where I'm attacking a monster... usually a world boss and I'm not quite sure what happens but I think someone else hits the boss and
i start getting the message that I'm attacking someone else's monster. It's quite aggravating to lose a boss and its drops to this bug (I guess I'll call it). I'm not sure if there's something specific that they do that I don't to get the kill steal protection system over me... my only guess is maybe they use a skill and I don't.

I wasn't sure if this was known, but whether it is or not, I'd like to know how I can make sure the protection system works.

Activated Monster protection to avoid Kill stealing:
*Mob protection is Lost if:
- You have not attacked within 1 minute of last attack
- You died
- Left the area
- Mob resets itself
- You become an invalid target

*Mob protection excludes:
- People in the same party as you
- People in the same Guild as you
- Specific Monsters set to ignore Mob Protection
- Faction and Invasion Map

This is how Mob protection works now so if u get the message is because it activate to someone else, if u get the message and u are alone wait 1 minute or try to fly so the mob reset, But I've never seen the protection sistem bug

The people this happened were not in my party or guild and happened specifically with the mars dungeon boss. I don't think any of the mob protection things, but I'll try and have a recording going from now on so if it does happen I can show exactly what happens.
