Tanks are useless ?

I've recently tried cove for the first time and it seems that using a templar + arcanist is completely useless. Even if I (templar) attack first even ust the sub-bosses, when my brother (arcanist) attacks using skills, not auto-attacks, the sub-boss changes target and kills him first. Is it possible that skills can catch aggro ? Am I doing something wrong ?

If you're tanking a Boss deactivate Auto-Attacking and use skills (temp aoe skill for example) to keep the aggro on you, otherwise the Monster will switch targets. I hope that helps ^^
